Vegetation is thick bush with clearings (pans) ideal for stalking. Your skills as a hunter will be challenged in many ways that you have never experienced before.

Owners Julius and Madelene Gers, and their team of highly trained professional hunters and trackers, have gone to great lengths to create a truly authentic hunting experience that is about skill, and not just the kill.

Klein Papkuil is home to 44 different species and subspecies, including some of the most sort after in the world, including the following  – Buffalo, Rhino, Roan antelope, Sable, Bontebok, Lechwe, Nyala, Tsessebe, Golden Wildebeest, Kings Wildebeest, Black Impala ,White flanked Impala, and all 6 off the Springbok slam.

Papkuil Reserve is situated  in the middle of the largest wild olive forest in the world. This umbrella like trees are browsed by all antelope species and provide  excellent nutrition during winter months.

Both bow* and rifle hunting are accommodated at Gers Safaris, which offer the hunter the opportunity to match his skill set and wits against the animals in their natural environment.
